Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan chain mid link for chain with 3/8ths of an inch thick links. So, this is going to be a really good solution if you we're to break a link in your chain. You just place this in there to connect those two ends, and it'll be ready to go with that tie down chain. It does have, included with it, the two clevis pins to get that attached and the two cotter pins to keep those secure.To remove those cotter pins, you just need to squeeze down on the ends of the cotter pins, either with your fingers or more often you'll have to use some needle nose pliers, or something similar, and then you'll just push that pin through, and that'll allow you to pull the cotter, or the clevis pin out. It's the same thing for both sides.This is made of a durable grade 70 heat treated steel, so it's going to be really durable, and it also has this yellow chromate finish, so it's going to resist corrosion. As far as the overall dimensions, it's going to be about 3 inches long by about 2, or excuse me, it's going to be about 1 and 3/4 inches wide, and that's going from the edge of the clevis pin to the other end.
That's going to be the widest point there. And then, the widest point of the mid link itself is going to be this rounded end where those clevis go through, and that's going to be just over an inch. The clevis pin diameter is going to be 3/8ths of an inch. The safe working load limit with this is going to be 8800 pounds, or 8800 pounds, and it's going to have a maximum load or break strength of 26400 pounds.And that's going to do it for our look at our Titan chain mid link for chain with 3/8ths of an inch thick links.
